Steel Type

MV steel is a softer stainless steel used for knives that are getting the rougher treatment. It is renowned for its respectable edge retention and good sharpness. Enriched with carbon and chromium, it has high stainless properties. The addition of cobalt, molybdenum, and vanadium enhances its toughness and durability, making MV steel ideal for crafting knives that can handle a little extra punishment.

Recommended Maintenance

Store it in a dry environment using magnetic strips, knife rolls, or sayas. Avoid hitting hard or frozen objects and twisting the blade while cutting. These knives are not dishwasher safe.
